Can't open note in a new window

For some reason Evernote does not open notes in a new window now. I click on Open Note in New Window. It creates a note that shows up in the Evernote icon in the taskbar, but when I click on that note, it does not take me to a note in a new window, just the same note that I am on in the regular Evernote window. This means that I can't have multiple notes open at the same time. HUGE ISSUE.

Yes I am having the same exact issue. And I'd rather not use Chrome tabs to view multiple notes......

This is for the mobile Android app, or for which client ?

I've got this problem with Windows 10 app on my laptop.

Reinstalling didn't help.

 

Can someone help with this issue?

I've got the solution. One have to right click on Task Bar window of a note, click Maximize and then resize a Note window manually.
