Regarding changing my account e-mail address

I’m trying to change my account e-mail address but even when I find the correct account settings by going to settings ... more settings ... manage e-mail accounts, I get forwarded to the older e-mail on the list and then Google which is not helpful. Then on Google I get an authorization error most likely because the older e-mail is Outlook. So I need to update the e-mail address on my account.

Hi.  Not sure how or where you're changing the email address,  but Google should have nothing to do with it.  See below for the correct way to do it.
