malcolmwolf 0
I would like to save .enex files as backups and have anyone be able to download Evernote and open those files. Will they be able to do this, or will a .enex backup automatically require my account username and password for a user to access the notes? Link to comment

The .enex file is self contained; not tied to any account, and does not require a password to access However the method to access notes is by importing the .enex file into an account For my backups, I use the .html export option (Evernote Legacy) The notes are read-able by any browser app 1 Link to comment
