Is there an option for secure notes in evernote? I'd like the option to secure notes using a password, so that even if the data itself was intercepted it would be impossible to read without the password.

From Mac or Windows, you can select text within a note, then right-click to Encrypt that with a passphrase of your choosing.

It would be handy if it was supported on the mobile versions, reading is enabled, I can't find a way to create some encrypted text on the iPhone or iPad versions at least. That's primarily where I would need the feature. I.e. being given a new password at work and wanting somewhere safe to put it.

You could use a true password manager (IE Onepassword, SplashID, etc.)
