Evernote for Safari Plugin Breaks Duo Prompt

Hello,

My university uses Duo 2FA for logging into the university services. When I have the evernote web clipper plugin enabled, the 2FA page does not fully load and keeps refreshing. I discovered this issue after disabling all plugins and selectively adding one back at a time until the issue returned. The issue only occurred when I had the Evernote Web Clipper plugin enabled.

After some testing, this issue occurs on Safari but NOT Firefox. My OS is MacOS 11.0.1 and Safari 14.0.1.

Is this issue not going to get any attention? This makes Evernote unusable for many students using Safari

Have you issued a support ticket ?

Posting in the forum is good to inform other users, or share experience. It does not reach out to the devs to look into something,

In general security software can cause all sort of interaction with other apps or extensions. I personally doubt that there is a simple solution for the conflict described above. If it works with FF or Chrome, then probably switching the browser is the best solution.
