Search not working on desktop app

I updated to the latest version, 7.14, and searching is no longer working. Searching returns 0 matching notes for searches that match note titles and content.

The latest version on a Mac would be v10.6

7.14 is the legacy client, and it is the piece of software that is around since quite a while, and is the workhorse for many while the v10 clients evolve. If you have an issue with it, maybe post more details here.

Since 7.14 has a local search index, you can try to rebuild it. Hold down the alt/opt key before clicking on help, then behind the last position of the help menu are options to fix local problems. Rebuilding the search index is among them.
