Nygaard 2
I just upgraded to a premium account in order to give Evernote one more go. I was primarely interested in the pdf annotation feature and the pdf annotation summary. But when I open the pdf in annotation mode the problems start. First of all it is impossible to scroll up and down on the page. The scrolling option only scrolls through the page list. When I try på annotate, nothing happens. I tried with a pen, a mouse and a finger. Then suddenly - out of nowhere - it annotates part of the line. But then it doesn't work anymore, and I am unable to do any annotations. It is the same when trying to add an arrow or a sticker. Does anyone have the same issues? I am using a Lenovo Yoga running windows 10. Link to comment
LaurenR 1
I'm having the same problem. I can't highlight anything, none of the buttons work, I can't figure out anything. 1 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,117 Posted April 30, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted April 30, 2021 Highlighting in v10 works differently from what would be intuitive with a pencil / stylus: First select a part of the text, then choose the Highlighter tool (for example). At least it does so on the iPad. 1 Link to comment
mbastudent 0
Has this been fixed yet?? so frustrating that the whole reason I purchased this - to annotate and organize PDFs and notes - isn't functional at all. 1 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,117 Posted August 30, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted August 30, 2021 As support told you „… or use the legacy client until …“ https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote It is free, it is included in your subscription, and following support it will do the job. I don’t know, not using touch or stylus on Windows (if I ever use Windows, which happens only very occasionally). 1 Link to comment
NeuroJoe 1
Unfortunately still does not work in Windows 10.21. This worked so well back in the day with Skitch, I just got a Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 for work and was really hoping to have similar functionality on Windows. Link to comment
