Android Device Storage Options gone since Dec 2020 Update

Has anybody else encountered this? My Evernote app automatically updated the newest release in Dec 2020 (last couple of days) and it has tanked my device's memory. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.4. and have always been able to store Evernote on my SD card. That appears to no longer be an option with this update. The option literally doesn't exist as a selection. Definitely not going to work for me!! If you've encountered this, is there something I'm missing here (other than the obvious)? Thx, L
