What a terrible release (windows)

I am so ticked off by Evernote

The take a software working decently and transform it into a poor copy of itself, deciding to change user life and make it more painful / less productive

Where do I start

1) I sent feedback repeatdly via the app over past 10 days, no replies

2) contact part of website sucks

3) app hangs very often

4) one often only sees empty/blank notes

5) new Search SUCKS, amongst other things one cant search restricted to a group of notebooks

6) format of some notes has changed

 

 

Super disappointed...guess now is time to move definitely to Roam or Notion

I forgot a lot of other "small" changes, for which I cant see a reason apart form disrupting user life

 - changing location of the tags

 - url link (if created from the clipper) not appearing on top of the note, but needs to go to the  info page - wasting time again

- embedded url link not leading to webpage directly (need 2 steps now)

- drag and drop from a note into another not working (ie no Evernote link appearing)

 

What a total lack of caring for user productivity

Why am I paying for this ?

One more thing (I am sure there will be more)

 - some notes are just being refomatted as soon as you open them - for instance deleting bullets (level 3) which make the note unreadable
