johnshansen 0
Also drag-and-drop PDF document to attach email stopped working... Link to comment
kroustadopom 1
Same things here. Even worse than that, I can't edit in preview anymore (mac) without saving a copy and preview and add it as a new note in EN. Not the first time those bugs appears.... 1 Link to comment

Bastian K 1
Have the same Problem, and it's really annoying because I need to save the files first st since I can't just drop them out of the APP. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,773 Posted October 5, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted October 5, 2021 What works as a workaround for me is to drag the file from EN on to the Macs desktop, and from there into the other app (or vice versa). By dropping it to the desktop it somehow unwraps the container in which the file seems to be hiding. Not a real solution, but still better than using the „save“ workflow. Link to comment
Tyremountain 2
Gibt es denn keine Antwort zu diesem Thema von Evernote??? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,773 Posted February 25, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted February 25, 2022 And why ? The issue is solved, works on Mac. If it does not work for you, check your update status. The current Mac client is EN v10.31. Link to comment
Bonsai1003 0
Mac client V10.41.5 (MacOS Monterey V12.4) and apparently it doesn't work. Same goes for Windows 11 (V10.0.22000) unfortunately. Unless I'm doing something wrong... Clicking the pdf in the note so the border turns blue, I can drag but not drop. It simply doesn't do it... Trying to drop in the Finder window on Mac or the Explorer window in Windows 11. No luck. On Windows 10 Enterprise (V20H2) I can drop it to Explorer. Actually, windows 11 may be a problem on its own. I'm not really a huge fan of it... Apparently, I can drop it in an Outlook (V16.62) mail message on Mac but unfortunately not on Windows 10 (Outlook 365 V2102) nor Windows 11 (Outlook 365 V2206). Level 5 PinkElephant 8,773 Posted August 2, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted August 2, 2022 You don’t describe where you want to drop. If you intended a cliff hanger, you did everything right. Else you decide to tell only 50% of the story. Link to comment
Bonsai1003 0
Hmm, just rebooted my Mac and now I can drop the pdf from EN to Finder... Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,773 Posted August 3, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted August 3, 2022 Do you use the AppStore version, or the direct download ? The AppStore version is known to give problems that are sometimes hard to crack - especially in the interchange of information between the app me other elements. This is caused by MacOS, running the AppStore apps in a sandbox. Link to comment
