Evernote / iPad refresh when switching apps?

Is there a way to stop Evernote on iPad from refreshing when I switch apps?  I am on iOS 14.  This has been doing this for a while but didn’t in the past.  It may have started with iOS 13, but am not sure. If this can’t be fixed/stopped, I am going to switch to another app, even though I have been using Evernote for many years.

I had the same issue for what seemed like years. The latest version, the re-write, version 10, seems to finally fix that. Are you still seeing it with that version?

Which Evernote version are you using?

As per @Paul Meyers, I understand this problem has been resolved with the v10.0 release
