Only a few notes showing in the Evernote desktop app, sync doesn't work

Hi,

A while ago, I was using Evernote when my hard disk ran out of space. I quit the app and freed up some space, but now only a few notes are showing in the desktop app. I've checked Evernote Web, and all the notes show up properly in there.

Manual sync doesn't solve the issue, neither did installing/reinstalling the app.

Does anybody know how I can solve this? I constantly have to use the web interface and it's starting to annoy me.

There's two troubleshooting steps

1. Rebuild the search index
   Hold down the option key when selecting the help menu
    
2. Full Sync
   Hold down the option and shift keys and click on the sync icon

If you have a corrupted database, installing/reinstalling the app does nothing
