5 years of notes gone

I tried to open my desktop app this morning and was asked for my password (unusual). I logged in and got a Welcome to Evernote/First Note message. I logged in online and got the same thing. 5 years' worth of notes are gone. I'm using the free version, but would really like to get all my content back. I have no idea why or how it was all destroyed.

My guess is  that you logged in with a different  userid

Your 5  years of notes are sitting there under the  old userid
