Hi There, 

I scan all my client's business cards into evernote and save them properly in their respective folders. I can call, text, see the locations lauching maps perfectly but if I click on the email icon to send an email to any contacts I get a pop up with this information.

Send Email: No apps can perform this action

I use Samsung mail daily for work without any issues and it is set as my default, I also have a Gmail account obviously that works so I'm confused as to how to assign Samsung Mail when I click the email button.

Anyone have a clue on how I can assign this properly?

Hi.  Not sure what you have to do to make that option work,  but if you check the bottom item on the three dots 'more' menu,  you should be able to add the card holder to your normal mail contacts.  You'll be able to mail from there.
