One of the biggest features I miss in Evernote is the possibility to draw sketches/images. Simple things like squares or circles.
Things the drawing tool should include:
- Freehand drawing
- Simple geometric forms (box, square, triangle, circle, ...)
- Some forms that are useful to describe things (arrows, lines, dotted lines, ...)
- Predefined colors and custom color for drawing
- Drawings should be an single entity and not part of the complete note (maybe export of only sketch as png)
- Group the drawings and the text in the note so that they can be moved or removed easily
- Reopen drawings to edit them again
Good notes are very visual and not only text, but I don't want to draw them on a piece of paper and upload them as an image. Also, could a tool like this, help to make a nicer and better understandable of a hand-drawn sketch because the text would be readable and the lines straighter. Text that is not part of the drawing should be able to flow left or right from the sketch with a padding.
It should work on all devices and not only touch based ones.
