sending out random screenshots

Hi, after i installed evernote webclipper on my chrome browser, it starts sending out random screenshot when i visit certain internal websites of my company. I am using my company PC, and was alerted by our IT team that i am sending out screenshots through evernote. The screenshots i was shown are just random screenshot captured on my screen. I have checked my evernote account, and i cannot find any image attachment. Please kindly advise why is evernote capturing and sending out screenshot from my PC?

I don't know of any reason Evernote would be sending out random screenshots of your intranet - the app is dormant unless you're editing notes or clipping sections of a web page.

The app does seek to sync the local database with Evernote's central servers,  so what your IT people might be seeing would be the note content if you took a screen shot of part or all of one of those pages and saved it as a note.  But Evernote doesn't take screenshots without being asked to do so.

The Chrome clipper has recently been updated to version 7.1 so you might want to check that out in the Chrome store to see whether this issue still exists - if so,  please confirm which OS you're using.
