codigostr@gmail.com 0
Hi everyone, When I share a text to Evernote, the note appears between HTML tags. - FPV 5.1</div></en-note> I'm using the latest version to android. Thanks. codigostr@gmail.com 0
If I use copy and past there is no problem. The problem happens when I use the "Share" option. Link to comment

codigostr@gmail.com 0
The source is an app for android "Ellen W. Writings". I took some screenshots. Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,006 Posted September 28, 2017 Level 5 Share Posted September 28, 2017 That is strange; at least, I have not seen it before. Does the same thing happen when sharing from other Web sites or apps, or only with this one? Also, does it happen if you copy to the clipboard and then paste into Evernote? Truthfully, I'm not sure that I can explain what's happening, but at least it may be possible to find another way of getting the text into Evernote properly. Link to comment
codigostr@gmail.com 0
Another member of this forum told me that she is facing the same problem and unfortunately she didn't find a solution to fix it. I think the problem is with some evernote update because when I unistall evernote updates the problem doesn't happen, however I can't sync it with another devices. So, I think it's better to find another way to copy and paste my notes, because the sync option is very usefull. Link to comment
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,006 Posted September 29, 2017 Level 5 Share Posted September 29, 2017 If it happens with copy and paste as well as with direct sharing, let me suggest this: Evernote for Android has a Quick Note feature that is accessed from the notification screen. Pull this down from the top of the screen and tap "Add note" next to the elephant icon. This will bring up a small window into which you can type or paste information. It uses a different editor from the main Evernote app, and sometimes formatting issues in the main app are not present in the Quick Note interface. If you're able to paste there, you can give the note a title and save it to your default notebook. Then you can find it in the main app and see if the text is present without the HTML codes. I hope this works for you! Link to comment
