Not registering the login after the current session suggests it's a cookie issue - there are a few threads here about Sierra and allowing cookies from some sites - can you check your cookie and security settings to see if its possible to accept cookies from Evernote?

Thanks gazumped, you are right about cookies on safari. We used the Mac Cookie App, and we had to specifically state that don't delete the Evernote cookie.

But this had not been necessary until the update 6.12.1.1.

In the case of Firefox is even worse. Since the last update Clipper only opens a blank tab and nothing else. We have set privacy to clear cookies on exiting out and we had already seen a similar problem in an earlier version but it was quickly fixed with the next.

P.S. We don't have any Adblock, only Tab Mix Plus, Pinterest button and Pocket  installed.

Weird - don't think this has been mentioned with other issues on that update.  There have been a rash of recent dot releases - I think this is most recent.

If you're continuing to use the latest version and this release doesn't fix the problem,  I'd suggest you repost the query in that thread where the devs will be paying closer attention,  and report it to Support directly if you're a paying customer on https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new or tweet them if not via https://twitter.com/evernotehelps
