falconlz 0 Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 When trying to attach a .txt file in the Mac client, it says that the format is not supported for free accounts. I thought that .txt files are okay for free accounts.
engberg 89 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 You can paste the content of a text file into a note, but the only embedded "attachment" file type for Free accounts are: PDF, JPG, GIF, PNG, WAV, MP3, AMR
falconlz 0 Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 Does that mean the policy changed? Cause I'm pretty sure I was able to do this in the past...

engberg 89 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 No, we started with a smaller set of supported Free file types, and have only expanded the list slightly (to add PDF and AMR). We've never reduced the list ... TXT attachments were never a Free type, but perhaps you may have been putting the text content into the body of the note rather than embedding the file as an attachment(?)
