Suggestion: Evernote Sub-Tags Should work better

This is probably not specific to Windows but thats what I use to create almost all of my notes.

 

If I create a tag called "Computer" and underneath that (create tag in) create a tag called "Hardware", then when I click hardware I'd expect to see those tagged hardware and if I click computer I should see those tagged computer AND hardware (and any other subtag). There should at least be an option for this.

Sub-Tags in EN are not truly hierarchical. They just serve the purpose of getting a better overview of your tags, they are simply informational.

You can easily achieve what you want though:

Click the first tag (Computer), hold down the Ctrl-Key and click your second tag (Hardware).

That wil give you only notes with both tags.
