Ink note and audio recording

Hi Folks

I"m a long time evernote user but new to Microsoft surface.   I'd like to be able to write a note and record audio a the same time.  It works great for typing notes but not in ink notes.... or at least I haven't figured it out yet.  Am I missing something?  Is there a way to record audio while I write on my surface?

My solution is to use an external editor; Notability on my iPad
I store the document in Evernote as note attachments.  
Attachments can be pdf and audio format, or the document can be stored in native format.

Yeah - I've been looking at options like that but its making things difficult... if I copy and paste... I get the black background due to transparency copying .... its a pain frankly.

I'm hoping I'm missing something or that the record option could be added to the ink note tool bar...
