I'm having the same issue - did this get resolved? I have two Evernote accounts and want to use the same phone number for two-step verification for both. I am wondering if that is an issue because I am getting "Internal Error - Please try again" when entering same mobile number for 2-step setup for second account. Two-step setup worked fine for first account which was enabled a while ago.
