Evernote Causing Google Chrome to Freeze/Crash

I too am having the same problem that has occurred around Dec 6th and it seems every note is loading slowly. I have 16 GB of Ram and 1 TB of storage with a i7 dual core processor in my laptop. I tried on MS Edge and I'm having the same problem with Edge not responding but it will respond in 10 seconds
