To PinkElephant's point - that's a sound workaround, but that's a lot of workflow for a broken application. We've been using the ScanSnap/Evernote combination for years and, right up to last Thursday, it was a terrific solution. Since Evernote OCR is excellent, file labels are of little consequence, in my experience. We typically rename scans in the Evernote application which takes seconds and guarantees searchability.

Further to agsteele's comment, I downgraded to Evernote ver. 6.25.3.9348 (309348) Public (CE Build cd-62.6.10954) and pages are scanning normally again (i.e. 1 - n). Same version of ScanSnap manager (5.6 L10) in both cases Scan with Evernote 10.32.4.pdf Scan with Legacy Evernote.pdf

Same issue - first page of scans is blank in Evernote (scrambled graphics in Chrome PDF viewer, unopenable in Acrobat Pro).
