  1. For me it's been much better lately. It now auto syncs within 10 to 15 seconds after opening the app. However, I completely stopped using the Evernote tasks feature because, even if the app syncs fast when I open it, it doesn't sync in the background even though I activated background refresh in iOS settings. I did the test, I created a task named TEST on my Mac and set a reminder for 1 hour later. I made sure not to open the app on my phone, and even 2 hours later, the notification had not appeared on my phone. Sure enough, I then opened the app and 10 seconds later, the TEST task appeared, but I did not get the notification. I did the same test with Things 3, my task manager of choice, and background sync was fast and seamless and I got the notification. For my notes, it doesn't matter, but for tasks, this is kind of a dealbreaker for me as the notifications are not reliable and I missed quite a few reminders because I didn't think to manually refresh by opening the app after creating them on my Mac.
  2. Thanks that works for me. Background sync is active but yeah going to the notes list is much faster so I'll keep doing this for now and hope it syncs automatically faster after an update at some point!
  3. Do you mean I need to keep the app opened on my phone while I edit something on my desktop?
  4. So I’m having an issue with the app not always syncing automatically between my devices. I use an M1 iMac, iPhone 13 and iPad Pro 2021. All of them on their latest OS version, and Evernote on the most recent versions on all of them as well. Sometimes I will edit a note or add a task on my Mac, and hours later, I will open the app on my phone or iPad and the content I added hours ago is not there. I wait and nothing happens. I have to go into the app settings and manually click on « Sync Now » and after this, it’s all good. What’s weird is it doesn’t always do this, but it happens often enough for it to be a major annoyance to me. This only started a few weeks ago, it didn’t do it before.
  5. I did not know this, thanks! But what I’m talking about is seamless drawing anywhere on a typed note, like I’m typing something, then I pull out the pencil, draw something quickly next to the text or between lines or whatever, and go back to typing. This method is at least something but it just inserts an image of your drawing, it’s alright but not as seamless.
  6. I also find this slightly annoying on my iPad. How about if instead of swiping from anywhere, you could just swipe from the edge of the screen to go back? I think that could be a good compromise, keeping the gesture but making it less sensitive.
  7. I recently got an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil and I've been comparing using Evernote and Apple Notes. There's one particular thing that I noticed in Apple Notes which I loved is that you can type with the keyboard and draw with the pencil in the same note. It's also something you can do in Microsoft's OneNote (and it works even better), but you can't do this in Evernote. You have to select ''draw'' instead of ''Create new note'' if you want to use the pencil. Of course you can use the scribble feature in a regular note and write text with the pencil, which will be converted to typed text (if it recognizes it properly) but that is not the same. I really wish we could add drawings to our typed notes, that would be amazing!
  8. Now that iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 support extensions for safari, it would be amazing if we could have the web clipper extension available on mobile with the same features as the desktop version.
