Evernote Causing Google Chrome to Freeze/Crash

I’ve had the same issue with Chrome and Edge. My assumption was that it was linked to Evernote trying to render every excel file to show as an ad for upgrade to professional. Totally unusable now. Works on iPad, Mac but I rely on web access.
