I'd like to second this - the old auto scanner was fantastic and now it ends up taking multiple unwanted pictures before I've even had time to line up the second page. Very unhelpful from a user perspective and I like the bright effect of he auto scanner but always have to switch to 'photo' as soon as I open it up as the 'auto' feature is now no use.
