@PinkElephant Thank you for notifying me, I apparently have two users . Kim L basic and Premium. Both iOS 14.2(iPhone 8) and OS X running catalina (mBP unibody 2016) is slow. The error occurred when the new update of evernote (new GUI) arrived. Some notes won't even load, and crashes the app. Maybe these are some of my larger notes. Any ideas of how to access them, and make them smaller ? Thanks for your tips using legacy on Mac, but my main usage is on the phone. writing quick notes and snapping pictures - which is impossible as of now. Anyways this is an app specific problem, and occurred only after this recent update - have tried uninstalling and installing. updating OS etc. is there any news on anybody researching this ? Otherwise I need to change to another note system.
