I think I am having the same problem - I open a new note and there is nowhere that I can add the title. (Mac/Catalina/Chrome). Either I am being incredibly stupid or something has broken. ^^ UPDATE - so it seems that the version of Evernote I was using was broken somehow. I logged out and then back in and the problem went away. I've had to go this path before when something wasn't working (all my notes were blank) so I guess it works as a solution, but not a very user-friendly one.
