Maybe this is a bug, maybe this is functioning as intended. Either way, it does not speak well of Evernote's developers, quality assurance, or management. I've been using Evernote for 10+ years, and it has been exceptional in terms of design (big fan of dark mode and ability to customize UI in other ways), functionality, and reliability that entire time, at least in my experience. And it's been one of the very best cloud products (along with Dropbox and Google Play Music). Not a fan of requiring automatic updates, these update popups, the fact it takes someone with the company a week to respond to a bug like this, or tech support that marks things as fixed when they are in no way fixed.
