My experience with Evernote as a paid user goes back over 12 years.
The main reason that made me become a client was the screenshot quick note feature, in IOS (at least) that mean that with a combination of keys, I could capture a selection of the screen, and visual notes will be listed under the same quicknote (as a draft) and accessible through the bar on top.
Images there will still be transferable and usable across multiple options (drag into an email, drag to desktop to save as a screenshot, etc).
This feature stopped working a couple years ago, and I did not get a solution from the evernote management, but some helpful user showed me the way to Evernote Legacy. I have been using it until the end of March where mysteriously everything started failing.
Why did Evernote did not notified bye email that Legacy will stop being supported? Even if we are only 1%, what would have cost to share this information ahead of time? I have lost a lot of work, notes and time... Only yesterday I found out.
The new quicknote feature lacks the functionality the old one had. I find it quite useless: screenshots are directly saved as notes individually; you cannot add any non-text information, and, even more ridiculous, if you are using two monitors, it only works in the main one!
How can something that worked so well in 2012 has turned to be worse 12 years later? Can you please add this back?
If there is no plan, I would like to know ASAP so I can unsubscribe.
