Indeed. I wonder who their test group was, considering that I haven't seen anybody here enjoy the new screen that much.

I mean the new Home/Welcome screen. Having the Widgets as start screen + the customisable create buttons was much more useful and intuitive. Can't understand why they though the new screen has any useful use case...

Did anyone get rid of this ***** with any of the updates? I opened several tickets, wrote to them on X, but no response. I find it highly unprofessional behavior from their side. Implementing such a useless change...

Where did you move?

The fonts have also been changed by the way, and made bigger.

You can’t send emails at support.
You need to issue a ticket. You know you have a ticket when you got a confirmation with a ticket number.
And yes, support experience currently is slow at best. In most cases I experienced it to be useless, at least up to my area of experience with my tickets.
On the other hand the EN team is really fast these days with fixes 😀. But it comes with a flood of releases 🙁. And sometimes it seems for each 🐞 squeezed there are 2 new 🐞 🐞 introduced 😡 .
Aggree. They seem to be focused on just rolling out new features. This looks good on the front-end but generates plenty of bugs on the back-end.

Wrote several emails to support, to remove me from the testers group. They don't even bother responding.

It didn't work for me. Already opened a ticket.

I received today the option to give feedback regarding the new welcome screen, when I opened the app. Did anyone else receive it also?
-
As the title says. I just noticed that for the 2nd time, after updating the app, thousands of downloaded notes are gone and the option to have offline notebooks is unchecked. After updating the app to the latest version.

I have exactly the same issue on S22+ for months now. Reinstalling and even resetting the phone did not help.
-
It's a completely useless change which has no value add or user friendliness whatsoever. You could configure the same buttons that you have now on the homescreen anyway, by selecting the desired buttons from the settings. It's completely messed up, not to mention that now your User icon overlaps with the phone clock.

Then it makes sense. I've been trying to send them an email to that address, but got the following message.
[THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE - PLEASE DO NOT REPLY DIRECTLY TO THIS EMAIL]

Does anyone have any idea, why one of the most useful features, My Widgets, was removed as the starting page when you open the app on Android? Now you have to make 2 extra taps to open it. Doesn't seem efficient and well thought out to me at all...

Did anybody else notice, that with the latest update, by default all the notes had their line spacing and font changed? They all got bigger which makes it less compact. The same thing on PC and android. How can I change it back to how it was?

I've tried downloading my single notebook by leaving my tablet on for 2 days in a row with screen on, and they won't download. Also, it won't even sync to show my latest notes and all this after I reinstalled the app, to make sure everything is fresh. All to no avail.

What is more annoying, for me at least, is no longer the fact that they don't download, but the fact that it's been more than year now, without the development teams input. Shows a completely ignorant attitude from the support team.

That solution no longer works, cause i've tried it on Android, and it's no longer downloading anything since the latest update. I have about 2800 notes, all in a single notebook. Support recommended to me, to uninstall and reinstall again, but I don't want to risk all my offline notes again. This issue has been going on for almost a year now. I can't understand why they are unable to solve it.

Hi to you all folks, and happy new year. I just installed EN 10.23.1 on another device and was faced again with stuck offline notebook download. 3 notebooks, all together around 20 notes. Only the frequent stuff. EN8.13. did this in seconds. I could not believe they did not fix this bug, which we saw since the very 10.0 - 13 months ago. I opened a ticket again, and guess what... they are still working on a fix.... well the exact same answer as with my original ticket 11 months ago...
As the even are not capable to fix main paid features I more and more get the impression they really got stuck in their framework experiment. Very sad. 😞
Yes, annoyingly they still haven't fixed it. I also had several discussion with them about this. I still cannot fathom how they are unable to fix this issue when it has been highlighted numerous times. They also seem to forget that some users are paying for a feature which doesn't work at this point basically. It's really frustrating.
And to make matters worse, ever since the latest update, it takes even more time to load older notes on mobile on Android. Sometimes i have to wait literally a minute till a note loads.

Yeah, never mind. My app was not on the latest version, even though auto-update is enabled. My bad.

Hello,
Since the introduction of the, in my opinion useless feature of, swiping right to close a note, I am unable to scroll left in a table in a note. The note automatically closes itself when you try to scroll left in a table since it's registered as a swiping right (close note) movement.
I already opened a ticket months ago and made 2 suggestions via a ticket, but no feedback so far.
-
Yes, you could previously hold then drag the scrollbar , for faster movement, as you mentioned. Now it's not working.
During the day I am connected to the internet all the time. Tried several times to alternate between wifi and mobile data, but the notes still don't download. Hopefully it will get fixed on Android also, soon.

Could this be because you haven't set that note or notebook to be available offline? This was a setting in the previous version of Evernote and remains so in v10? My first check would be that this setting is set for offline access. I think, if my memory serves me right, that you have to do this by notebook - there is no setting for the whole of your account to be available offline. This is a setting to respect your data package and device storage.
I think that search is probably the way to go...
My one and only notebook is set to be available offline by being downloaded, to no avail.
I don't think it's that hard for the devs to reimplement a feature so that you can drag and hold the scrollbar, for faster navigation. Searching doesn't help in this case.

Same here. I need a quick access to already created notes and don't want to create 20 notes everytime I open the app.
