Ah, I did not realize there was a difference! So I see the checklist feature is under the "MORE" menu when composing a note. I don't see where the checkbox option is?

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn OFF the strikethrough feature when checking boxes?

I've been using Evernote Web Clipper extension for Chrome for Mac forever and everything has been fine. I upgraded to v7.11 yesterday to fix a bug that had appeared, but now my Chrome web clipper extension returns the error "Connection appears to be offline" and doesn't let me go any further. The web clipper is v7.12.0. I don't seem to be finding any solutions online.
