Been using this app since I was a broke university student, loved how easy it was to hop in and take some notes. UI changes in the past year made it extra confusing and now I am frustrated that every time I use the app there are constant pop-ups to change my plan. I know y'all need a business plan, and I'm but one person speaking into the abyss, but I just wanted to add a data point to say that you are pushing a long-time user out. Shame, too, as I was considering paying for the extra devices part of the plan.

Honestly, I came here just to ask politely for more colors highlighting since while it's useful, it isn't constantly necessary for me. But seeing this thread, the desperation and frustration Evernote has caused to its own userbase and paying customers because they refuse to add the simplest of features has me ready to leave this service behind. I started using OneNote recently and while I like Evernote more - this is pretty pathetic, so I think I will start migrating too. I just updated my app and saw all these things about Templates and other stuff - why can't you just add this one, small thing?
