  1. Hi guys Whenever I want to clip things into a different notebook which has name starting with symbol (for example: !BETTER), you cannot just type "better" to look up the notebook. Instead, you have to type the "!" first in order to look for the right notebook. It is not happening in the Evernote Mac client. Please have a look, and hope this will be fixed soon. Cheers Gary
  2. Hmm I counter this problem for a while. It seems to me that I can only change the color of the font rather than the highlight when I call out the "show colors" option under format. Does it mean there is only one color available for highlight at the moment?
  3. Hi guys, I am currently using web clipper most of time on mac chrome and want to share some thoughts. It seems to me that most of the markup tools usable are available for screenshot mode only, and screenshot limits to the area that is displayed on your screen. Whenever I encounter long articles that I want to annotate, I may turn to skitch app to do so. I don't think the idea of breaking the websites into several screenshot would be fun. () As a result, I think the solution could be introducing taking screenshot of the whole webpage or the content of whole articles, depending on the mode you prefer. In this way, I think it solves the limitation of the markup tools and provide more flexibility in adding annotations besides clipping. What do you guys think? Cheers
  4. Some thoughts about the pdf editing migrating to evernote from skitch. - Currently the ios7 evernote does not recognize the content edited by the old skitch (for example, it does not detect the skitch summary page generated after edited by the old skitch) - As discuss before in http://discussion.evernote.com/topic/40446-re-editing-pdf-using-skitch/ , there are still technical issues concerning the editing experience In general I think keeping the pdf editing in skitch is great especially to light user who only need it for several occasion. Most importantly, the user experience and outcome need to be similar whether you are saving edited pdf from skitch to evernote or doing the editing within evernote.
  5. Did not try out the beta at this point of time, and I would like to bring your attention to one of my observation. When I edit the pdf, originally save in evernote, in skitch, I do not get the skitch summary added to the first page of pdf file. However, you get the skitch summary in your pdf file when you open the pdf from skitch from the beginning. In addition, it seems to be the only solution of avoiding duplicate if you make changes frequently to the same pdf file. The inconsistency frustrates sometimes, I hope this issue is identified and being improved in the future development. Thanks.
  6. Currently there is only two options available (at the bottom right corner) for viewing the content of pdf which are: 1. All pages 2. Annotated only I am wondering if the option "table of contents" will be added in the future. It will be a relief for pdf with hundreds of pages. What do you guys think? Cheers
