I have a password that is considered very secure to access my Evernote account. However, Evernote has blocked my access to my account because they have decided that my password includes "common names". They didn't advised me to change my account. They didn't allow me to access my data, even if may password was really safe. I had to change the password again, which resulted in significant lost time and, above all, changing the way I design my passwords. This is an anecdote, but important because it indicates a paternalistic and very intrusive attitude, and it makes me think that if Evernote operates like this with everything, I should reconsider maintaining my subscription. And it would be a shame, because in other aspects, they are improving a lot

I had the same problem: new Windows small laptop I bought to go to a congress out of my cuountry. No Internet acces in my hotel and now, when I need to review my notes, they are empty. I thought the syncing was automatic. Maybe I didn't wait enough time for the syncing to be done. But if I have to open all my 20.000 notes to get them synced, I would rather memorize them all!!!!

Syncing notes with android is a nightmare, but yesterday I could see a new bug: one note, which included 10 important tasks, appears now with all the task without text. If I look for the task, I can see it, and if I open the note from the task panel, the note appears normal. However, if I open the note from the left panel, no tasks appear in the note. I think this is related to the syncing problems, as Evernote creates duplicates of the notes whenever I sync with my android phone. This is a real disaster, as I keep important information in these notes and now I cannot trust Evernote as a tool for work. I will keep using it only as an information repository. It is a shame that I have just paid an annual subscription. I should have cancelled it....
