I've been experiencing similar issues to those reported here since January 21st 2018 (at least that's when the failed clips began to appear). Clipping from Firefox running on a PC under Win7 works fine, but clipping from Chrome running on a Samsung S7 fails. Symptoms as described earlier here - Evernote (whether the desktop program or mobile App) reports the note as "Clipping" but this then updates to "Clip failed". Latest released versions of Chrome and Evernote app/program in all cases.
