Select the notes. Copy the internal links. Paste the links into a note.

The links will show the titles of the notes as a list. The list can be bulleted, numbered and manually sorted.

From the TOC list you can go to each note with a click. Since all linked notes will contain a backlink, you can as easily go from each note to the TOC note.

    Very nice... thank you!

    Same problem here:

    EN Professional 10.81.4  MacOS Sonoma

I kept seeing the greyed out Save as Template despite the suggestions above.

I was able to immediately save as a template on my iPad  (iOS 17). Then after sync, the iPad template shows up on my desktop EN.

There's a bug in the desktop version, I guess.

Same here.  Mac 14.4.1 and Evernote desktop 10.81.4.  I cannot save any note as a template (Save as Template greyed out).  The "create a heading" work around/trick doesn't change anything.  Like @snsokstan, I can create a template on my iPad and then use it on desktop.

Does anyone know anything about this or is it just a bug that needs to be fixed?

  3. macOS 13.1; iOS and iPadOS 13.2

I log in to Evernote from macOS app and from the web without any difficulty.  I downloaded the current versions for iPhone and iPad... When I try to log in from either iOS (iPhone 13 mini) or iPadOS (2020 iPad Air) I get the message:

    Error
    Permission denied
    Try again

I use a password manager and I have triple-checked that the password is correct.  I have used the manager to autofill the login information; I have copied/pasted from the mobile device and from the iMac; I have hand typed the login information, but I keep getting the same error message.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what the issue is?

  4. I have Evernote Web Clipper 7.12.3 - only a couple days old.  Now I find some pages won't load in Safari with the clipper installed and active.  But, if I de-select the clipper in Safari Preferences Extensions then the pages load just fine.  I am not sure but this might be for secure pages (https://).

Is anyone else experiencing this?  Is there a work around?  So far, I have been deselecting the web clipper when I need to access the page, or launching a different browser.

Edit: For example, UPS won't load if Web Clipper is active: https://www.ups.com
