Same annoying problem found on Evernote iOS 10.9. Is a fix available or near?

There appears to be a non-stop importing/syncing problem with Evernote iOS 10.9. When action is manually stopped, the app will re-attempt to import/sync whenever the app is launched. I’ve encountered the same problem with earlier releases of Evernote for Mac OS but the problem has been solved with the latest release. Is there a workaround for iOS?
