Thanks @PinkElephant, I didn't realise a support ticket would be OK to use for a bug report! 🙂

It appears that the arrow button that you tap to actually add a task on Android is positioned over the text box where you enter a task's description. If the text reaches the button, it then goes beneath it (which I didn't realise to begin with) until it's long enough to go onto the next line. If the word at the end of the first line is short, it can be completely obscured by the arrow button!
(I couldn't find anywhere to report this little bug so put it on here - I hope that's OK!)

I also have the same issue. It works for a bit and then randomly goes completely blank - but for me it's OK (for a while) once I restart the app. Very annoying, especially given the claims that the new "rebuilt from the ground up" version is more reliable. If this is counting as one of my (now only) two devices, it really ought to work reliably!

I can't understand why companies like Evernote and Dropbox don't seem to get that there is a small fortune waiting out there for them if only they offered a proper "budget" price for a very basic and limited version of their software that satisfies the needs of thousands of potential customers rather than just focus on hundreds of "premium" ones.
Totally agree: there must be thousands (millions??) of users that would benefit from and be willing to pay for a budget version of Evernote but can't justify the full paid version. I'm definitely one! I'd be happy to pay £2 a month or something like that for three devices. (I wouldn't even use a lot of the premium functionality!)

Notes showing up as View Only
in Evernote for Android Issues (Versions 10.0 and above)
Posted
I've just experienced a note becoming view only whilst editing it! I made a change, moved somewhere else in the note, then when I moved back, it was view only. And in case you wonder, the change I made persisted, so it was definitely editable to begin with!
