  1. Why can't evernote recognize and support bgcolor in the Evernote 5.9.x and beyond versions For those who don't know, search about ENML editor, edit your note there and add bg color to note like this <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?> <!DOCTYPE en-note SYSTEM "http://xml.evernote.com/pub/enml2.dtd"> <en-note bgcolor="#98FB98" style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;"> testtteml <div> ll </div> </en-note> Then view said note in old Evernote versions (below 5.9.x , like 5.8.8 which is the one i am currently using) you will see colored background (and the old checkbox + other stuff evernote had before the "evernote editor change") Once you use 5.9.x versions (and evernote web) to view the notes the background is gone I wish they could bring this back
  2. I miss the colored background could evernote make this work again http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-change-evernote-background-color-or-image/ Or could someone teach me the new way to make this work? Please This is only reason i stopped updating evernote (currently at 5.8.8) How hard is it to retain the background color in the new evernote editor? I know Evernote says they are updating this for a better experience but it's not like that for me when you remove features like background color -.-
  3. It is actually possible, although you have to copy a existing note that already has a background color http://www.christopher-mayo.com/?p=459 This stopped working in 5.91 (it still doesn't with 5.95, I checked) Maybe because of this it stopped working https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/88637-the-evernote-editor/ Maybe it has something to do with layout changes (new checkbox icon, new icons in the toolbars, the white background seems a little lighter (?) ) I'm staying on 5.8.8/staying off 5.9.x + versions until evernote fixes this
