Guests can only add tags to a note if those tags are already part of that shared notebook. I.e. the tag must already be applied to at least one of the other notes in that notebook. This is to prevent a guest from polluting your account with dozens of tags that you need to find and delete on the left side.

This is not working for me. I share the note with TAGS already applied to some notes, and the other person cannot add those tags to other notes

I don't have this experience. The non-dated reminders appear for me in v10...but I can't control the order of them. They seem to respond to the same sort that I have set for the notebook (which is a change in behavior from Legacy).

All of the notes appearing on the reminders tab have no reminder date associated with them:

    True, my bad.

They do appear . I just had the notebook with too many reminders.. and they appear right AFTER the dated ones.

Is true that we have missed now the ARRANGING of them .. we cannot move them. We need that again.

I use non-dated reminders (pinned notes) a lot. They are more functional to me in Legacy than they are in v10 for two reasons:

    1. Being able to custom order my pinned notes by dragging/dropping them is a key part of my workflow. Not having this option in v10 is a workflow issue for me because it is less efficient (another micro-efficiency lost for me). I use non-dated reminders as "shortcuts" for a specific notebook. By taking away my ability to sort them, I have to mentally think about which note I'm looking for in the list each time I go to that notebook, vs just knowing that, say, my "project management" note is at the top of the list every time. If you can image the pushback Evernote would get if users couldn't manually order shortcuts, that's the workflow frustration/inefficiency I'm feeling by not being able to manually order the non-dated reminders. REQUEST TO HAVE DRAG/DROP TO ORDER NON-DATED REMINDER NOTES RETURNED TO V10!

    2. I miss that the side-list layout for the reminders tab no matter what the view of the notes tab is. The important part of the reminder for me is the title (often using it as a project management note, a task list, or a shortcut for that particular notebook). I don't find the v10 behavior of the view (where it mirrors the selection of the notebook) as useful. This one doesn't "break" my workflow like #1 does though and if I could manually order them (request #1) it *might* be less of an issue for me – although have you have it in Legacy is great...and this doesn't feel like a functional improvement.

    Yes I subscribe exactly this.

Also when in a certain notebook I used to click in reminders and all of them appeared. With v10 only the DATED remiders appears. Those without a date dont. I miss that.

You might contact support and ask them where the enappinstalled cookie is stored in the browser of your choice.  At least that is what it was name in the past.  Delete that cookie and you should be asked where you want to open a note link the next time you access a link.

Ok. Did that. Here is the response.

    Hello there Luis,

    Thank you for your response.

I understand notes used to open in your app regardless which type of link.

Upon further checking, it seems the enappinstalled cookie responsible for this behavior no longer shows up in the list of cookies. Hence, currently, where the note will open (app or browser) is dependent on its type of link–regular or in-app.

I completely understand how it would have been more efficient for you to access all note links in the app. I’ve gone ahead and made note of this for our development team. While I am unable to guarantee that this will be implemented, I appreciate you bringing this to our attention for consideration.

I appreciate your understanding in this matter. Kindly let me know if you have outstanding concerns.

    Sincerely,

    Noelle C.

    Hi Povilas,

Where notes are opened is controlled by a cookie in your browser. The first time you open a notelink you was served with a dialog prompting you to choose to open either in the browser or in the desktop client. It's not completely intuitive to users that this dialog sets a preference in this cookie and we have no user facing setting that controls it at this point.

Here's a guide that hopefully explains how to change this behavior:

Let me know if it helps. (the guide is written from a Web Clipper perspective but it is a general setting...)

    Thanks fot the note.

Is there a way, once you have selected the Desktop app by default, to remove the message thats appears that you have to Syncronice from the server ?
