  1. I echo the interest in a task API (and have filed a feature request). My biggest driver is the task functionality doesn't have all the features I need. Love creating a task in the context of a note, but need better ability to manage, prioritize and organize tasks. Am looking to pull tasks from Evernote, Trello and Hubspot into TickTick for easy ability to consolidate and manage personal tasks. While there have been some improvements to display of tasks, it's still a second class citizen in Evernote, relative to notes - one of the reasons to quickly move task flow to an purpose built app for me.
  2. That sounds like an interesting workaround - I'll give it a try. Thanks!
  3. This has been discussed for sometime, but doesn't appear to be high priority. I too would really like to be able to open up a separate task list window that I can leave open all day on one monitor, similar to how I keep certain notes open. Please give the user control of their windowing, don't assume. I noticed some people talk about keeping all of the tasks in the default note. IMO, that defeats the primary benefit of tagging tasks inline in notes. Without that feature, there's really no point to using EN for tasks and not using a separate task app with better features.
  4. Love the task integration into notes - have dropped my tasks app. But the big thing missing from the desktop version is the ability to tear the tasks list off and place it on my desktop as a separate window. In the current version, I can either have my tasks up or my notes list, but not both - pretty suboptimal for the way I'd like to work. Please push this to the top of the dev list, thanks!!
  5. +1 this idea. I just moved to Evernote Tasks (I've used Evernote notes for years) and love the task -> note integration, but not having a separate task window that I can position on my desk is a big draw back. Please add this feature.
