I am using the basic EN on two devices; desktop and laptop pcs. I am not a heavy user and feed EN 99% of the time with clips taken by the firefox 'addon'. I have the EN app and firefox on each device. Occasionally I will get asked to upgrade or drop a device. If I remember right the last time I successfully clipped and then opened my EN app to look at the clips and was asked to upgrade. How did I violate the two device rule?
Whether this has anything to do the problem I don't know, but I very often get asked by a web sites that I use often and some daily to identify myself because I am on a new device when I am on my usual desktop pc. Whatever they are using to identify my device has changed.
To respond to another comment re fixed IPs I am not an expert in the protocol, but have been told that TMobile home internet service (hot spot) does not use fixed IP addresses because of a shortage of them, but you can get a fixed address by paying extra.
