Just wanted to chime in and say this is a feature I would also appreciate. Dragging in an alias doesn't work; it just opens the alias in Textedit for some reason. My details, in case it matters: Evernote v 10.5.7 build 2171 public Editor: v114.1.14753 Service: v1.25.2 macOS Mojave 10.14.6
