Thanks PinkElephant! I understand that I am stuck with the preview pane. I tried to create a home page that looks like the old version but after removing all the default widgets, and set up the filters just to show my notes list, it does not give me a "list" it has a series of boxes with the first few notes showing in the boxes How do I get the home page to just have a list of notes" Also - when I downloaded the new version - it was supposed to remove the old version but now I have both the old and new version on the computer How do I get rid of the old version without interfering with the new one? Hi Folks, Evernote finally persuaded me to upgrade my Evernotes version to most recent one and now my beloved formatting has changed. The old format let me just have a list of notes showing when I opened the program. Just the notes in whatever notebook I selected. It also shows when the note was created and when updated. Now they have added in a panel on the right that is a preview of whatever note is currently highlighted. I do not want this and do not like this. I just want to see my list of notes and then have that note pop up when I click on the note I want. That panel on the right with the note preview is just a distraction to me when I am scanning my notes list Also the search function got changed - we used to be able to search at the top of the list and also tell the search engine which notebooks to search at the same time. Now the search function does not give me the option to select which notebooks to include in the search - it takes me away from my notebook lists. While these things are pitched as improvements they are not as user friendly as the old formatting. Is there a way to get to older style features back? Thank you, Rob R
