Thanks for the idea. I used TrashMe and completely deleted Evernote and its dozens of files from my iMac. Restarted, downloaded the app directly from evernote.com, and so far so good.

Yes. Same here. Same dialog. Same need to force quit. In fact, I've been seeing this with all the releases for a while now. Evernote has become an unusable app. I can only use the version in the browser. I am seeking alternatives before my next annual payment kicks in.

Happens all the time to me on Big Sur, too. "Restart" does nothing. "Quit" does nothing. Just upgraded to latest version, still happens. Seeking alternative software, at this point. Don't plan to pay Evernote once my current year runs out.

Don't know about v 10.3.7, but it's not working in v 10.4.4.

Thanks. That's good to know, about Keyboard Maestro. But for now I think that I'll use Evernote Legacy.

+1 to restore this to what it was before! The format Derick uses is far superior for sorting purposes.
