@Outputcentral I figured it out. I rolled all the way back to version 7 something, same issues and finally decided it wasn't Evernote. I then changed my keyboard from Swiftkey back to stock LG and problem was fixed. Hope that helps you.

I have this same issue and it has been going on for at least 8 months. I'm extremely frustrated that this is not fixed and I'm considering dumping the entire platform and I've been with Evernote since the beginning. I'm going to post a video of it also so it's clear what is going on. This isn't a nice to have or some nit picky bug. This ruins using the entire application! When is someone going to fix this?
