Same thing here... on my left is mostly shortcuts and recent notes. None of those remain highlighted when clicked. If I click on a notebook it it highlighted. So this feature appears buggy to me because some things are highlighted and some aren't. So it just looks inconsistent. I know it's probably not actually a bug.

Feature Request: Please allow higher quality audio recording on the Mac Evernote applications. My scenarios is this: I'm in a meeting or a class and someone says "let's talk about... X" I quickly hit Record in Evernote while I'm also taking typed notes in Evernote. When the topic they're discussing is complete I hit stop. This way the audio recording is placed within my note right near my typed notes about their topic. Then when someone says "let's talk about... Y" I hit record again. This way, I have short audio notes inline right near my text notes so the audio notes are on topic. Since the Evernote audio recorder creates a very low quality recording that makes understanding speech difficult, I usually record the meeting on Voice Memos in iPhone then sync and drop that audio note into my Evernote meeting note. This is not as good because I have one long (over an hour) audio file instead of short audio notes that were recorded. Even mono 128 aac would be a great improvement. thanks for considering this, Bill

When emailing notes from Evernote for mac ( 6.0.6 beta 2 ) - I cc'd myself - and when I look at my email in 2 different browsers the images are all stretched out. I'll attach a screenshot. When using the Evernoteapplication on my mac the images all look correct and not stretched out. macbook proevernote for mac 6.0.6 beta 2

Hi. I have a 2nd monitor attached to my laptop via hdmi and I have Chrome open on the 2nd monitor. If I go to use the evernote helper clipper thing in the top right of my OS X screen to use the "clip rectangle or window" tool it will let me draw a rectangle on either screen and clip that to evernote... but it is not clipping what I am drawing the rectangle around. It's clipping some other part of some window - difficult to tell where it's grabbing this image from. It doesn't work on either the macbook's screen or the 2nd monitor. However, the "clip full screen" does work just fine. BUT! If I disconnect the 2nd monitor and have just the macbook open the "clip rectangle or window" works fine - just as expected. -thanks

I used the instructions here to uninstall Evernote 6 and reinstall version 5.7. Thanks for that, people. So, at least Evernote did leave up older install versions for us to use... so good on them for that. It worked for me and I'm back to an interface I like.

Hi all. I'm happy you keep improving your app. My requests after installing this 6.0 update... Please bring back some of that lovely Evernote Green color. I always thought it was pleasant. I find this all white / grey color scheme disappointing and much less "fun" than your previous color schemes. Please bring back a line or something to separate a note's title from a note's body. Thanks for adding the ability to resize an image in a note. -Bill
