@gazumped this took months to resolve. I don't think "patience" is required in this case. When you pay for a software (like me) you expect that it works without problems. This kind of answer just show bad developing practices.

The icon came back without me doing anything. Maybe the Windows registry was updated automatically. If so, this may represent an issue with the Evernote updates. The software must force update the registry after installation.

I didn't notice that. Well, there isn't a lot to be said. Is the same issue described in the first time buddy. The last EN updates result in that issue for me. Last time I just created a new shortcut and it worked fine, now this is not working anymore. I'm using Windows 10.

Same here. The last Evernote updates seems to do this (missing icon issue).
